Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

With the new Tomodachi Life soon to be released, I figured I'd make a thread to contain the wacky shenanigans that happen on my island. Other people can post about their Tomodachi islands as well if we want a single thread to contain them, or this can just be a thread for my own game. I'm fine either way.

The game isn't out yet, but I did upload a compilation of me completing the demo.

First islander is my friend Blinkpen's OC, Bianca. I added her specifically as a challenge to see if I could make a convincing Mii using all the new features. I think she came out alright! I might tweak the metal half of her face, though, it might go a little too far back. There's definitely some room for improvement, but I'm happy enough with her for now. She immediately tests the game's (lack of) profanity filter, as her father is an evil dictator who she hopes to dethrone some day.

She makes quick friends with Graylef, my evil clone or whatever. My spouse wants our Miis to be married, so I added a doppelganger of myself so that I can vicariously live through him as he falls in love with Shrek or Goku or whoever. After the video, I tweaked him slightly, flipping his hair so that it mirrors my own.

Finally is Dracula Flow, which is a Mii I found on Tomodachishare.com, made by Lochnessmonster_1107. They knocked it out of the park, I think. I might remove the eyes behind his glasses, that might be funnier.

Bianca and Graylef now refer to each other as Blanca and Gray Guy. This nickname system is going to add so much character to the game, I can't wait. Dracula also tests the profanity filter. He has a few notable catchphrases he'd ideally say, but the character limit on those phrases is pretty tight. You can kinda cheat, though, as the character limit for the pronunciation is a bit longer. So while his text simply says "fuckin KILL you", I eventually set it so that out loud, he says "I'll fuckin' KILL you." It might just be long enough to get him to pronounce "this shit ain't nothin' to me, man." Maybe I'll test that out in the full game.

Overall, a very compelling demo. Gives you JUST enough to get you excited for the full game. I can't wait for the full release on Thursday!
